FAQ

Is this a pet sitting or dog walking franchise?

…No – This is better, Why? Because you get the same benefits of a pet sitting franchise business model, everything you need to start, run and be successfull. The only difference is: This will cost you less leaving you with more profits!

What areas do you cover?

…England, Wales and Scotland.

Do I need any qualifications?

…No – Full training will be given to ensure you have all the skills you need.

Can anyone apply?

…Yes as long as you are an animal lover – If you’re looking for a business opportunity that offers you the chance to be your own boss, work the hours you want to work and generate the income you want to make then this is the business for you.

What do I need to do to get started?

…Fill in the form “Check NOW to see if your area is still available”, tell us a little a bit about yourself and the area you live in and then we’ll give you a call to discuss the next part.

Do you offer finance?

…Yes – Click here for more information

Is this a seasonal business?

…Yes & No – Obviously this will depend on the number of services you offer however pet owners do go on holiday all year round, they do work for approximately 48 weeks of the year and still require Dog Walking and Pet Sitting services

Is there much competition?

…This will depend on the area you live in – although we find that many competitors struggle with their marketing & advertising or it’s  almost non existent so by using the tools we’ve developed you’ll be able to flourish leaving the competition behind!

Once I've paid a deposit how long until I'm up and running?

…Within 30 days all the materials you need such as leaflets and stationery will be printed, the website will be tailored to you and the training will have been done

Do I need a specialist car or van?

…No – It is up to you but we would advise against this, part of the service for clients is arriving in an unmarked car so as not to raise awareness that the pet owners are either out at work or on holiday. It’s an unnecessary expense that will just eat into your profits.

Who sets the charges for pet sitting services?

…We will help you to do this – It will depend on the area that you live and work in because some areas quite simply cost less to live in and therefore some services can cost less. For example if you live and work in London almost everything costs more than if you lived in the midlands.

What accounts do I need to keep?

…Most people are likely to want to be self-employed, some may prefer to set up a Limited company. Both will require a level of accounts to be done and business taxes to be paid. You will need to register with HMRC for Tax and National Insurance purposes when you start your business. Should you need assistance with this we have an arrangement with a small friendly Accounts, Bookkeeping and Payroll company who can help and guide as you require, at very competitive rates.
